Scary Heights:
One of the most common requests for interior painting is the two-storey entryway. Most people don’t have the equipment or the skill set to tackle this project, or better yet, you just don’t want your spouse that high off the ground. 🙂
The Math: First thing we do at Rite Painting is come up with the size of the area we’re painting. Then we need to factor in the variables that aren’t associated with a typical room:
- Set Up:because of the angles and different heights set up typically is more time consuming.
- Access: usually we’re working at a front door therefore people need to get in and out.
- Ladder Work:moving ladders and going up and down ladders equal more time.
- Safety:higher ceilings lead to more safety in the form of tying off your ladder or having assistance holding the ladder.
