The Rite Painting Story

Mark Lane & Sandy of Rite Painting

In the Beginning

I started painting houses for extra money when I was sixteen years of age, and continued during the summer months through college. After completing my degree in Economics and Finance at WWU, I moved to Sun Valley where I met my wife, Sandy. Upon our return to Seattle I pursued a career in outside sales. During an economic downturn I was laid off and returned to painting to pay the bills for our family which now included two young sons. Little did I know I was starting a business I would grow to love.

A Positive Experience

I aim to make every customer a customer for life. Whether you are painting a room or an entire house you may have some apprehension about hiring a painting contractor because of a previously bad experience or hearing horror stories others have had. It’s our goal that every painting experience is a positive one that can be shared with others. The majority of my work comes through an extensive referral network from repeat customers. Some previous customers have provided testimonials to view, and I’m happy to provide additional references upon request.

Why Choose Rite Painting?

Let’s face it. There are many “contractors” just trying to make a quick buck. We are in it for the long haul. When choosing any contractor be sure you select a true professional who takes pride in what they do and stands behind their work like Rite Painting does. You will be glad you did. We’ve been in business for 20+ years and have worked hard to earn our outstanding reputation and we treat every job with the attention to detail it deserves. We strongly encourage you to evaluate us and every contractor you are considering. Don’t just take my word for it, put us to the test: talk to our former clients, look us up on the L&I website. I’m sure you will like what you find and we’d love to work with you.

Thank You,
Mark Lane
